what are your favourite things to photograph?
I love macro photography. Anything bright, colored, and detailed is importance. With an eye for all things artsy, I like those sorts of photographs. Flowers make great subjects because of the vivacity of colour as well as the textures in their petals, and that's just to begin with. But I am also nostalgic, one of those adults trying to live backward into high school, and therefore the most important thing to me is to capture the moment. Candids are the best, because they show the sides of us that we aren't necessarily ready to share with history. Favorite foods (oh, sorry, did I catch you eating?), early morning photos (yes, that is you under all that makeup) and most importantly, our personalities as they show on our faces... not as we plaster them there. In general, I love photography, no matter the quality, age, colour, or subject. Every photograph has a story, large or small, and I think it is important that someone remembers those stories. It helps us live.
